Kyle Stewart brings new meaning to TAIKAN through his Collection 009 graphic collaboration. His work references the collective nostalgia of pop culture with a counter culture approach. His influences include vintage t-shirts, utilitarian hand painted signs and international film posters. This body of work can be described as the feeling of waking up from a nap, in the early evening, disoriented and sweaty. His twist on Kermit the Frog and the Grateful Dead brings a fresh look to his piece “Talking Heads”.
